Is there a doctor in the house?

Drew and Evan found some Coban and decided that everyone (even Mom) had terrible boo-boos that had to be taken care of. Of course, having this lovely outbreak of adult acne, Evan quickly realized my boo-boo(s) HAD to be on my face! I think the boys did a lovely job wrapping it up, don't you?

THE BEST WIFE EVER!

I let Ryan go on a trip to Yellowstone for 3 1/2 days with his brother Dan and their friend Tim. He asked me Saturday at 11 Am-ish and they were gone by 1 PM. He was kind to me and was back by 1 PM on Tuesday. This is Tim filming some of the wilderness for a movie he is making.

Surprise party?

Here's the surprise, it isn't really a party! Drew LOVES to have "surprise parties" frequently- for no reason. I give in to varying degrees depending on the day. Today, we made banana bread and lit candles because I had an entire bunch of very over ripe bananas and his speech therapist wants me to encourage any activity that gets him to blow air out his mouth. I thought it suited everyone's needs very well!

There's my Aspie Smile!

Evan has developed this smile that he uses when he logically deduces it is socially appropriate to smile. I call it his Aspie smile (Aspie referring to his unoffical diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome). This is it folks- the famed Aspie Smile!

Future male model

This was the first time I saw this picture and it kind of reminded me of some of Emily Matthew's pictures where she is posing. We love you Em!

Family fun

Pay no attention to the fact that Jarom and I look the same from the back! We were all building sand castles and playing in the water. We had set up a shade tent where Nana watched Zach and there were drinks and treats.

Vacation

This is a good shot of what it was like on the stretch of beach where we were at. We were all the way into Idaho. It was great.

There were some really weird creatures swimming around in the tide pools at Bear Lake - including this one!

Can we dig it?

Yes we can! We had SO MUCH fun at Bear Lake! I HIGHLY recommend it if you have never been there before, especially if you have kids!

Cousin Erik, Drew and Evan playing Hide and Seek. Cousin Tyler is hiding behind the coolers right next to Evan! The adults had a hard time keeping quiet on this one, but Tyler was amazing!
