Twister!

I just happened to look out my window right in time to see this on the way home from Lake Powell. I think we were near Panguitch. The boys thought it was AWSOME!

Big Rock Candy Mountain

Such a place exists and we stopped there on the way home from Lake Powell. We ate at the resturant and thoroughly annoyed Nana and Grandpa Peterson. Good times! I think by this time everyone was tired, hot and ready to be home! But I was glad we stopped since Ryan remembered the place as a kid and has wanted to go for a couple years now, my ankles and hands were swelling, Drew and I had to go potty and it was the only stop for the next couple hours!

29 weeks... and counting.

This is ""the belly" at 29 weeks exactly. Big, I know. So is the rest of me! I am gaining a ton of weight this time and I am not AMUSED! My maternity clothes are starting to get tight and/or too short. UGH! If we were just weeks from the end, I could live with it, but 11 weeks to go?! I just hope I make it to the end without having to resort to a mu mu every day!

Day Family Reunion 2008

We loved exploring the history of Ryan's ancestors in person! We just would have preferred it in May or maybe even April when it was 80 degrees instead of 118 degrees! I think we all got heat exhaustion that day! But, all things considered, for a 7 yo, 4 yo and 2 yo, they did really great!!! (Thanks Bryan and Theresa for helping us keep track of them!!!)

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell as part of the Day Family Reunion the end of June. It was stinkin' hot! We spent two days at Lake Powell. It was HOT and WINDY- ICK! Ryan rented a "personal watercraft" though, and that was fun for the boys. I even rode it at the end of the second day. Robby came with me and Ryan and he FELL ASLEEP on the skidoo! It was funny and yet concerning at the same time! We decided it was too much heat too many days in a row. He slept it off and felt much better the next day. Oh, yeah, that "hat and towel" on a chair is actually Robby sleeping after we got off the skidoo and tried to get everything back up the huge hill and into the car! (Thank you, Nate, for helping with that!!!!)
