Without really meaning to we kind of *inherited* a kitty. We decided to name her Ily. She has actually been a lot of fun. I like to call her my Puppy-Kitty because in some ways she reminds me more of a dog than a cat. And hey, she's a GIRL so any increase in estrogen around this place is WELCOME! The boys are ABSOLUTELY enamoured with her. I think it has actually been therapeutic to have her around. The allergy situation has been a little tenuous, but so much better than I thought!
Ily was the runt of a 5 kitten litter. She is just tiny and so insanely mellow! She does love to play, though. I would have NEVER decided to get a kitten and probably not decided now was the time to get a pet, but sometimes things come to us when we need them...
