I cut my hair

This is mostly for my parents and sister who may not see me until my hair has grown out significantly or grown out and been recut, even. Ryan is not a fan. I like it, even if just because it is different!

Four Months Old!!!

Yay! Kael is 4 months old. How time flies when you are walking the floors with a crabby baby! LOL! He is such a dolly when he smiles and laughs at us, though! He is getting big and his hair is turning BLONDE! I know, I never thought 3 of my 4 kids would spend any time as blondes, but there it is! ;)

Happy Birthday Ryan!

No, he is not 5 yo. He is 3 groups of 10 and 2 ones.

Christmas Montage

THese hooded towles were presents from Grandma and Grandpa Oliver (FYI, Mom and Dad... LOL). The boys fought RELENTLESSLY over the ONE hooded towel we have, so everyone got one for Christmas. They LOVED them! They danced around in them for 10 or 15 minutes. Oh, and bath time is MUCH easier now!

Christmas Montage

I am going to post a bunch of pictures now from Christmas. I will add comments as necessary or desired...

Christmas Morning!

The boys were super excited for Christmas. However, we had to WAKE THEM UP at 9 AM because Ryan couldn't wait any longer (I had been up during the night with the boys- didn't know that was the start of 2 weeks of illness- and was, therefore, asleep as well).

Christmas Eve PJs!!!

In keeping with tradition for both families (Oliver and Peterson) the boys received pjs on Christmas Eve! Yay! Except then Robby started handing out all the rest of the presents he had so longed to open and was dismayed when we had to not only put them back, but go to bed, of all things!

Christmas at the Petersons

The cousins did a present exchange. As there are 9 cousins that participate and 7 of the 9 belong to two families, it was kind of Jarom's kids exchanging with our kids. BUT, it was still really fun and the boys LOVED their presents as well as enjoyed watching their cousins open their presents.

Gingerbread cookies!

I wanted it to be a tradition to make gingerbread every year. Well, how is 2 out of 3? The boys love it and the decorating is fun as well. This year, I rolled them too thin and they were crispy. But they were pretty tasty and Drew and Robby had fun. (Evan was more "meh" about the whole thing.)

Holiday concerts

A friend in the ward talked Ryan into singing in the Lehi City Choir again, just for the holiday programs. A kids's choir sang with them. It was pretty good!

Robby and Evan enjoying Drew's class singing.

Drew's little head is behind those 3 tall guys in the front row. You can also see his teacher, Mrs. Winkler in the back bt the wall. She is on the right, the younger, thinner one. :)

Help!

I was, of course, busy with Kael and Robby desperately needed help out of his boots. Good thing big brother Drewby is usually willing to help. This picture doesn't do justice to how adorable this scene was!

We've had a death in the "family"

OK, didn't want to concern you, but I couldn't help myself! The family member we lost was just the upstairs computer! So, I haven't been blogging, etc as the pictures are on an F drive hooked to that computer. As soon as we are not sick anymore (myself included) I will try to move the F drive down here to this computer and download and post our Christmas pictures! Thanks for your patience! Just as the boys got over 2 weeks of stomach and "aches, pains, fever, sniffles" flu, I got it.... I am feeling much better after only 2 days, so I am hoping this is about the end of it for me too.
